The administrative files include a variety of documentation about the design, constructions and maintenance of the Miller House and Garden. Files may include correspondence, invoices, contracts, receipts, materials samples, photographs, design drawings, notes, reports, etc. The administrative files are divided into two sub-series: general files with varied subjects, and files by subject.    The general files typically have a variety of projects within a folder, and the files by subject are separated by a room or area in the house or garden or a particular project within the house or garden.

Subseries b: Clippings scrapbook, undated, is comprised of one scrapbook (housed in OVA Box 3) and many loose clippings that have been rehoused in legal-sized and oversized folders. The scrapbook contains a variety of newspaper clippings on architecture, estates, gardens, and art. The majority of the clippings are aerial photographs, which became commercialized following WWI and increased in popularity during the 1920s.
